‘Exceptional team’ onsite in Prague

The Finishing Touch successfully hosted Accenture’s 9th Annual Global Shared Services Conference held in Prague; this was a 2 day event for 350 delegates. The logistics were tailored to ensure delegates remained focused and engaged, whilst the evening Gala dinner provided an opportunity for delegates to network freely in a refined but more relaxed environment. The Finishing Touch managed all on-site delegate elements which included accommodation, registration, one to one meetings, all conference space, Q&A sessions, coach transfers and the corporate entertainment.

Both delegate and client feedback was positive with the team identified as doing an “exceptional job” and making the event “seamless and easy”.

A summer of fun come rain or shine!

With the summer season firmly underway there has been plenty of al fresco activity, from summer parties to summer balls to activity fun days we have been here to help.

The Finishing Touch recently hosted an event at the Westminster Boating Base. The day began with seasonal drinks followed by a BBQ and guests then danced the night away as the sun went down. The event was a huge success as highlighted by the clients feedback, “we would like to say many thanks to you and your team for an excellent evening. We were delighted with the venue, food and drink and look forward with working with you again”.

A summer event is also a great means of going green and promoting a company’s commitment to Corporate and Social Responsibility. Accenture recently left their cars behind and enjoyed a rickshaw treasure hunt around the streets of London. Guests were asked to answer a variety of questions which they had to research by directing their rickshaws to various London landmarks. We added some extra fun and culture by asking guests to report to a series of costumed characters including a monk and escaped convict from the Tower of London!

The Finishing Touch held a family fun day at London Zoo on behalf of FTSE. There was something for everyone, staff and their families enjoyed a BBQ lunch, face painters, giant garden games and back, neck and shoulder massages. Company activity days are great way to make employees feel valued and involve families within a stimulating environment.

Welcome David Taylor to The Finishing Touch

A graduate of Hospitality from Oxford Brookes University, David has previously worked for the Crown Group for 3 ½ successful years, 2 ½ years of those with Venue Reservations as a Senior Sales Executive.

The latest addition to the Events Team as an Account Manager, David will bring on-board his wide knowledge of unique London venues. He will be spending his time developing client relationships to be able to create the ideal event for each client. David has come to us from The Crown Group and is “looking forward to being able to expand our extended service offering working with a diverse group of venues, production houses and caterers to exceed our client’s expectations by creating the perfect event to meet their objectives”.

Free venue find service continues to be going strong!
