2007 has been a dramatic and exciting year for The Finishing Touch. In such a short period of time we have doubled the size of the business both in terms of personnel and turnover. This was aided by the acquisition of Yell Communications and then accelerated with our successful tender to the Training and Development Agency to become their contracted supplier of Conferences and Events across their entire agency. To accommodate this growth we have now moved to a new Headquarters in Hanover Square in the heart of the West End. Just to add to the fun we have also launched our new website and re-branded. While all of this was going on we have still managed to deliver over one hundred successful events to our Corporate and Private clients. 2008 promises to be a very busy year but with not quite so many changes.

The Training and Development Agency for Schools
The Finishing Touch was recently awarded the contract to provide a nationwide Event Management service for the entire Training and Development Agency. The contract will run for three years with an option to extend for two more. “This was one of the most challenging tenders that the company has been through” states Account Director Carli Pollard. “Winning the contract is testimony to all the hard work and dedication shown by the account team and to the very high standards that we provide our clients. We are continuing to innovate our service and ensure that every event process is developed from the initial venue search to the on site event delivery.”

Brand New
To coincide with First Artist’s group branding, The Finishing Touch have moved forward in changing their very own logo. The ‘infamous’ jigsaw logo has stayed but it has been given a more contemporary look. As well as the logo, the ‘old’ website has also been updated to complement the new look and office move.

Tis’ the Season
With the festive season fast approaching, The Finishing Touch is offering a wide selection of venues for Christmas parties. This includes Battersea’s ‘Après’, which will be an unforgettable evening of off-piste revelling, set in an exquisite surrounding of a breathtaking alpine winter wonderland. This can be hired exclusively or as a shared party option.

For private parties, The Finishing Touch’s extensive portfolio covers something for everyone, from nightclubs, restaurants, bars, museums to ballrooms. Each of the venues are exceptional and are amongst the top locations in the country for private parties. These are offered on a bespoke basis with the event designed directly to suit each client’s requirements, ensuring that the end result is exactly as the client imagined.
