| TFT Newsletter Archive - November 2006 A Joyous Christmas Awaits Christmas is nearly upon us this year and in celebration of this wonderful festive season, let TFT create your company’s most dazzling and memorable Christmas event to date. TFT can cater from exclusive parties for 40 to 2500 guests at venues such as County Hall’s Namco Station and the Hurlingham Club, to shared party nights at our Studio 54 venue in Battersea. For further details or to receive a full proposal please contact us with your exact requirements. The Palace in the Glen TFT are proud to present a new addition to their venues portfolio. We were recently invited up to Perthshire in Scotland to visit a showcase of The Gleneagles Hotel. This amazing venue is well known for being a Five Red Star golf resort, set in 850 acres of stunning scenery. You may also remember it as being the host venue for the G8 World Summit back in July 2005. With 266 luxurious rooms and 14 meeting & banqueting spaces, the hotel & resort has more than golf on offer. Its activities include horse riding, off-road driving, shooting, fishing, falconry and much more. TFT Sky Dive with Red Devils On the 7th of October, TFT and First Artist (the courageous souls that they are) braved an altitude of 13,000 feet to sky dive with the Red Devils in Langar, Nottinghamshire. The three “daredevil” members of staff did this in a campaign to raise money and awareness for the Lee Smith Foundation, a charity dedicated to the supply and promotion of treatments, cures and research to help people suffering from cancer. Over £2,000 was raised for the charity. A big congratulation goes to Esther Wyatt, Nicola Benn and Monica Llupar, who are pictured here with the Red Devils. Clinton Over the Moon After the success of the Leadership for the Future conference at the Royal Albert Hall, Bill Clinton congratulated the TFT team for all their hard work and effort. Before jetting off to his next speaker engagement, he invited the team (left to right: Sarah Rea, Janet Marshall, Darroch Moon and Lynden Edwards) to have their photo taken with him. Public Sector News The Public Sector Team continues work with The Training and Development Agency; delivering approximately 250 events a year, nationwide. With a dedicated team based at our Wembley offices and a team of thirty on-site event managers based across the country, we are able to maintain strong relationships with leading brands such as Marriott UK, Hilton, Novotel and Thistle hotels. We continue to secure the most effective Government rates available, where high levels of service are consistently met. |
