Family Fun with The Finishing Touch

We were delighted to organise a Summer Family Party at Chessington World of Adventures for over 200 guests last week, the third year we have organised this event for one of our financial clients. Families were welcomed to their own private marquee and served a delicious breakfast while being given queue busting tickets as well as magic money which could be spent in the park outlets and on photos. Guests were then free to come and go from their private facility in between taking full advantage of the adrenalin filled rides and being served a fabulous barbeque. For the younger participants within the private area we had a circus skills workshop (although these also went down surprisingly well with the adults!) and a special meet and greet that included a snake and a binturong also known as an Asian Bearcat.

Take That and party at the Lancashire County Cricket Ground

Having been invited by The Lowry Hotel, Sally, Catherine and Carli from the office enjoyed a fun filled evening at the recent Take That gig at Lancashire County Cricket Ground. It was another great opportunity to see the brilliant event space in action as The Finishing Touch is working closely with both The Lowry and the Cricket Grounds Gold Marquee this year putting together some fantastic events.

As well as proving their singing voices and dancing shoes were in tact Sally and Catherine were also lucky enough to bump into Danny O’Donaghue, lead singer of The Script who had just come off stage after opening the night for Take That. They look very cosy don’t they?!

This month we are loving The Langham

An inspiring and demonstrable move from The Langham to meet the current times!  Wouldn't you just love to find a hotel chain that has decided to waive any attrition charges and significantly reduce its cancellation polices to just 60 days?  Well if you book any Langham Hotel between now and March 2010 that is exactly what you will get, just imagine you can commit without any penalty until at least 60 days prior and should your numbers reduce for any reason then you will not be charged any penalty whatsoever!
